It is unusual to get truly original website briefs  – let’s face it, most people need their customers to be able to understand what they are seeing as quickly and as easily as possible. However, this website is for a musician who specifically wanted to obfuscate the pages of their site and turn it into a part of the art in itself: letting the user take a journey of discovery within the site. 

The homepage is a simple image with carefully drawn hotspots that take you to different pages on the site. We researched and found a plugin that enabled us to achieve this.

The other “normal” pages: contact and about – have the usual content but reduced menus so you can’t access all pages form any one page. 

The primary function of the website is to share music and one of the homepage hotspots leads you to a music page with an image, text and snippet of a song, plus a link to purchase and download the full version- we integrated the site with their Payhip account
