KTCRfm Radio Station

KTCR FM is a Community Interest Company running a local radio station with a loyal listener base and a website that wasn't keeping up. This quality WordPress website design project involved rebuilding their site from scratch on WordPress with Divi 5, integrating live and on-demand audio in a way their previous site simply couldn't support.

The station streams live via HippyNet, embedded directly into the site so listeners can tune in without leaving the page. Alongside that, AutoPod handles the podcast side — pulling in episodes automatically and presenting them in a clean, browsable archive. Between the two, the site went from a static presence to a genuinely functional broadcast platform.

The project came with its own constraints: KTCR secured charity funding for the rebuild, which meant working to a tight deadline with a committee of stakeholders rather than a single decision-maker. The brief called for clean and accessible over elaborate, so the design reflects what the client needed — a site their team can manage confidently — while delivering a significant leap in capability under the hood.

The result is a more functional, maintainable platform that puts their content front and centre.
