Frome Festival
Complete rebuild with an events calendar, eCommerce and more
Frome Festival wanted a completely new website solution as they had outgrown their old one.
This 2-week annual event had a long list of requirements that we achieved using out-of-the-box plugins and solutions. We aimed to provide a website that was easy to edit, update and maintain without requiring bespoke coding. It is now fully updatable by the festival team so they are self-reliant.
The website has different home pages and menus depending on the time of year.
We included the following functionality:
- Events calendar with public submission of events
- eCommerce online store with Woocommerce including virtual and downloadable products
- Ability to add Gift aid to products
- integration of a Stripe subscription
- Ability to export eCommerce and event data
- Advertising
- Mailchimp Mailing list integration
As is standard for all our websites, we also included recorded training sessions for the team so they are able to make updates to the site in the future.
